Andreas Zerfas is the new Vice President Product Management at iTAC

Manager strengthens MES/MOM provider strategically in product alignment

Montabaur, February 11, 2025 – Andreas Zerfas has been appointed as the new Vice President Product Management at MES/MOM provider iTAC Software AG. He has already held several leading positions at iTAC between 2011 and 2020 and is now returning to the company. In his new role, Andreas Zerfas is responsible for the further development and strategic direction of the iTAC.MOM.Suite and the iTAC.MA.Suite.

With its MES/MOM, iTAC offers comprehensive solutions for mapping and optimizing all processes from production planning to quality control within a unified system. Combining the Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) system iTAC.MOM.Suite and the AI-based analytics software iTAC.MA.Suite with solutions from Dürr and its subsidiaries creates a holistic MOM platform for the Smart Factory. 

Andreas Zerfas is head of Product Management at iTAC and is thus also responsible for the continuous optimization and alignment of the product strategy, which includes the consolidation and integration of Cogiscan, ANT Solutions and DUALIS technologies into iTAC's existing ecosystem. 

Cogiscan provides track, trace and control solutions for electronics manufacturing that enable seamless traceability in production. ANT specializes in smart factory solutions for the FMCG and pharmaceutical industries. DUALIS develops advanced planning and scheduling (APS) solutions for precise production planning and optimization. 

“The future lies in holistic platforms with ecosystems that support industrial companies in the digital transformation of manufacturing processes and offer modular, scalable solutions to solve daily challenges as needed. I am very pleased to be able to contribute my experience to iTAC again,” says Andreas Zerfas. 

Between his previous and current roles at iTAC, the expert worked for German Edge Cloud as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Digital Industrial Solutions. There he played a key role in the development of the ONCITE Digital Production System (DPS) platform.
